Hi! My name is Shionna Harris. I am a creative DC native looking to transition into the world of UX Design.

Most of my professional experiences have been administrative, event planning, and client relations. While these experiences may seem separate from UX Design, I feel that they have assisted me in building a great UX Design foundation. I've learned to empathize as a Children's Programming Coordinator and Office Manager, both at local nonprofits. Defining client issues and ideating possible solutions to their problems was a big part of maintaining my book of business as a Client Relations Manager. 

As I have a diploma in Baking and Pastry from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, I would love to work within the Culinary field but am open to other opportunities.
